McCranie's Moorsgate

Moorsgate is McCranie's English blend built with a low Latakia share. Per the shop's recipe, it's based on light Oriental leaves and matured Virginias that build a mild, sweet body, with Latakia added over them only in a small proportion. As a result, the smoky note stays in the background rather than covering the blend. Since it carries no flavoring, the sweetness comes from the Virginia's own sugar; the Oriental leaf adds a tangy-spiced edge too.
