McLintock Creme De Cassis

Creme de Cassis is an intensely flavored blend in Kohlhase & Kopp's McLintock line. Its base, built from black Cavendish and Virginia leaves, is worked with a sauce evoking the blackcurrant liqueur that gives it its name; it is ribbon cut and in some markets is sold under the shortened name "Creme de C." Since the nicotine load stays light, the blend's standout feature is its casing intensity rather than its body. Its moist structure calls for a slow, controlled burn.
