Wall Street is an aromatic in which chocolate-hazelnut and buttercream sauces are applied to a body of virginia and a dark, chocolatey cavendish; a small amount of maduro cigar leaf is also mixed into the blend. The combination of sauces gives a taste reminiscent of nougat. Hazelnut shows mostly in the aroma, while the cigar leaf appears intermittently as a dry, papery layer. Its name, according to records, is a reference to the mingling of pipe and cigar smoke in 1950s bank and business-district lobbies.
