Motzek Sweet Crushed Twist

Sweet Crushed Twist belongs to the Motzek workshop's twist line known as Tom's Twists. The tobacco is hand-twisted into rope form, rested, and before smoking it is sliced and rubbed into flakes before loading; the "crushed" name comes from this rubbed presentation. At its core are sweet virginias, joined by perique, which records say raises the spice. The tight winding of the twist format lets the tobacco burn cool and long, giving a profile that swings between sweetness and peppery spice throughout the bowl. The nicotine load sits at medium.
