No. 403 Superior Round Slices is cut from a rope with dark-fired Kentucky leaf at its core, wrapped and packed around with whole virginia leaves. Slicing the rope produces round coin shapes, dark in the center and lighter at the edges. It is noted to carry a light casing; it is not classified as an aromatic. The taste is herbal and lightly bitter; pine and dry herb lead, with hints reminiscent of black pepper and juniper behind, while the fire-cured character from the Kentucky adds weight to the body. Strength ranges from medium to full. The coin cut is easy to prepare and burns evenly regardless of how it is packed.
