No. 7000 is the latakia-forward English blend in Paul Olsen's My Own Blend line. Cyprian latakia comes forward, joined by Samsun oriental and black cavendish. It's at a smoking-ready moisture straight out of the pack. The taste sits between medium and full and stays consistent through the bowl; a buttery sweetness, strong wood smoke, a floral top note, and a tangy background line up with traces of musty grass, dry earth, and leather, with a peppery sharpness coming on the retrohale. It burns quickly and leaves a dry ash, which also makes it useful for a new pipe's first bowls.
