Likrish Stick is the aromatic blend Paul's Pipe Shop built around licorice. Per the maker's recipe, licorice liqueur is given as a top dressing to a combination of two distinct toasted black cavendish leaves. Toasted cavendish forms a base high in sugar and low in nicotine. Licorice root is one of pipe tobacco's most distinctive additives; it leaves a sweet-anise, faintly salty trace in the mouth and defines the blend's character on its own.
