Per G. Jensen Burley is the burley-based member of the Blender's Collection series bearing the blender's name. Per the series' shared principle, no top-note flavoring is applied and casing is kept to a minimum, letting the leaf's own taste come forward. Burley forms the blend's body, with a small share of Virginia added alongside it to provide balance and a touch of sweetness, and the tobacco is presented as a ready-rubbed cut. On the smoke, burley's characteristic dry, nutty-shell, bread-and-cocoa-adjacent earthiness stands out; sweetness is low and dryness high.
