Peter Heinrichs Reserve Crue No. 9

Reserve Crue No. 9 is a hand-packed flake blend in which Peter Heinrichs puts Perique at the center. Per the maker's description, six distinct fire-cured Virginia leaves and a pinch of Oriental tobacco are added alongside the Perique; the mixture is pressed and sliced for sale. Perique brings the blend a dark fruit sweetness recalling plum and fig along with a peppery spice; the fire-cured Virginia leaves add a woody, smoky base to that. Body and nicotine strength sit above medium.
