Peterson My Mixture 965

My Mixture 965 is a ribbon-cut English blend built from Cyprus Latakia, Macedonian-origin Oriental leaf, Virginia, and brown Cavendish. Records indicate it originated in the Dunhill catalog in 1965; after Dunhill stopped producing pipe tobacco, it was continued under the Peterson name with its original recipe and tin artwork. Latakia lays down a smoky, cool backbone; the Oriental leaf adds sweetness and spice, Virginia natural sugar, and Cavendish a creamy softness. The body is full and flavor intensity high; nutty notes appear through the smoke.
