Planta Yin Yang

Yin Yang is an English-style blend from Planta combining Syrian Latakia, black Cavendish, and light Virginia tips with Oriental tobaccos. The blend's distinguishing feature is a light flavoring with Calvados, the Normandy apple brandy; this note is carried by the black Cavendish and leaves an apple-like sweetness over the smoky base. Here Syrian Latakia builds a woody, measured smoky, lightly spicy frame; the Orientals give a tart sharpness, while Virginia supplies a sugary ground in the background. Nicotine is medium.
