Rivertown Tobacco Works Dark 70%

Dark 70% is an aromatic bulk blend from Rivertown Tobacco Works, made entirely of black Cavendish leaf. The ribbon-cut leaf is flavored with a casing built around dark cocoa and milk chocolate, carrying a light vanilla behind it; the maker's stated aim is balance, keeping the sweetness from going overboard while holding onto cocoa's faintly bitter edge. The Cavendish base itself gives a bready, woody, sugary ground, so the leaf taste doesn't disappear entirely under the casing. Nicotine is low and flavor intensity medium. The brand was founded in the US to offer bulk blends at an affordable, consistent price.
