Latakia Flake is a blend made by pressing and slicing Cyprus Latakia together with dark-fired Kentucky and black Cavendish. Since most English blends are presented as ribbon cut, turning a Latakia-heavy mixture into flake makes this product unusual within its category. Latakia sits at the center of the blend; its smoky, incense-like layer stays dominant throughout the smoke, Kentucky provides an earthy body and nicotine contribution, and black Cavendish softens the sharpness with a light sweetness in the background. No flavoring is applied. The pressed structure offers a slow, cool smoke.
