Robert McConnell Oriental Square

Oriental Square is a ribbon-cut blend combining matured dark and yellow Virginia leaves with latakia and Oriental tobaccos. The producer's description states the blend gives a balanced smoke with fine floral tones coming forward alongside the smokiness. The Oriental share is pronounced, as the name suggests; in this respect the blend leans toward the classic Balkan style. The Robert McConnell name rests on an old English tobacco house; production is carried out today at the Kohlhase & Kopp facilities in Germany.
