Robert McConnell River Thames

River Thames is a blend of dark and light Virginia leaf combined with spicy Perique, cut into round medallions. The recipe emphasizes a distinct raisin note; when lit, Virginia's sweet, faintly chocolatey, herbal tones come forward while Perique remains present from the first bowl to the last. The medallion cut allows the leaf to be rubbed out or packed whole, and lets the flavor unfold slowly. Nicotine is moderate and flavor intensity high. It is offered in a 50-gram tin as part of the Heritage line.
