Samuel Gawith Brown Rope No. 4 Aromatic
Brown Rope No. 4 is Samuel Gawith's thick-bodied rope series; the No. 4 number denotes the rope's thickness. In the Aromatic version, a light flavoring casing is applied to the twisted virginia-and-burley-based tobacco. It is produced with old rope machines at the Kendal facility and sold in wheel form. Its smoke is thick, tobacco-forward, and nicotine high; the casing does not come forward, serving as a frame that softens the tobacco's dark taste. It needs to be sliced, thoroughly crumbled, and dried.
