Winter Time Flake is the Latakia-forward link in English producer Samuel Gawith's limited Four Seasons series. According to records, the blend is the product of collaboration with Dr. Josef Stanislav; it is built by combining selected latakias with pressed virginias and is presented in dark-colored flake leaves in 50-gram tins. Virginia's high sugar content sits alongside latakia's spicy, smoky character; the result is a slow-burning, cool yet full smoke. No casing is applied. It is noted that this series, unlike Samuel Gawith's other products, is packed drier, which eases packing and lighting.
