Blend

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) Erinmore Flake

Erinmore Flake is a pressed blend built on virginia and burley whose origin traces to production by Murray & Sons in Northern Ireland. Its recipe is not disclosed by the producer; it is presented in flake form in 50-gram tins. According to records, the brand moved to the Scandinavian Tobacco Group umbrella around 2005 and the production site changed. The blend's distinguishing trait is the fruit-based top layer applied over its virginia-burley base; it is said that in the old Murray production this was recognized as a clear pineapple note, while later production shifted to a more mixed and diffuse fruit character. Nicotine load is medium. Because there is a notable difference between old and new production, attention should be paid to the tin date.
