Uhle's Blend 00

Blend 00 is a single-component tobacco prepared at the counter of Uhle Tobacco Company, operating in Milwaukee since the 1940s. It contains only pure ribbon-cut Burley leaf, with no flavoring added. This single-leaf setup reduces the taste to Burley's own dry, nutty character; it carries no sweetness and nicotine sits in the medium range. The maker presents this tobacco both for straight smoking and as a base leaf for home blenders.
