Volker Bier Bier Plug

Bier Plug is a pressed block tobacco bearing the name of German blender Volker Bier. Its composition includes Virginia, Kentucky and Perique; the block is sliced and rubbed out before being loaded into the bowl. Virginia takes the lead role in the mix, offering natural sugary sweetness, a grassy, hay-like character and a lemony tangy top note. The Perique adds a plummy, spicy layer on top, while the Kentucky brings body and a light smokiness. It is unflavored and carries moderate strength.
