Whitehall Products Inc. Greenbrier Smoking Mixture

Greenbrier Smoking Mixture is a menthol American blend bearing the name of Whitehall Products Inc., based in Helmetta, New Jersey. The company was one of the tobacco firms under Culbro Corp. alongside Bloch Bros. Tobacco Co. and Helme Products; the blend has long been out of production and today mostly turns up in old tin collections. The composition combines predominantly Burley, mild Virginia, Carolina bright leaf, and Turkish tobacco, topped with natural imported menthol. The cut is a ready-rubbed type, made up of a mix of reddish-brown, tan, dark brown, and black leaves. The tin note gives a sweet, resinous impression reminiscent of spearmint gum. The burn pace is below medium, and it may need several relights. Menthol provides measured coolness that stays in the background throughout; nicotine is mild to medium.
