Directory of US Pipe Brands (2/3)

The Directory of US Pipe Brands is an attempt to gather the scattered record of American pipe production in one place; this page holds the second part of a three-part directory, covering ninety entries from Glamp to New Jersey Briar Pipe Co. Pipe making in America ran along two tracks: on one side, series-production factories in centers such as Jersey City, Brooklyn, and Chicago, along with dozens of their sub-brands; on the other, one-man workshops working weekends in a home garage. The entries below are brief and factual; brands for which only a name is on record are kept in the list, with the gaps clearly noted.
