4Noggins Northstar

Northstar is one of 4noggins' Oriental-forward blends. Per the manufacturer's recipe, Turkish and Greek Oriental leaves are combined with high-quality Virginias, the mixture is aged for months, and then generously topped with Cyprus Latakia. No additives are reported. The Oriental leaf's spicy, dry character and Latakia's smoke form the blend's two defining axes, with Virginia underneath supplying sweetness and body. The maker notes the flavor profile stays consistent through the bowl. Nicotine is moderate and flavor medium-to-full.
