Abenaki Tobacco Co. Black Cherry

Black Cherry is a cherry blend Abenaki Tobacco sells under its "signature aromatics" heading. Per the maker's catalog, light Cavendish and Virginia are added to a toasted black Cavendish base; a measured cherry essence is applied for sweetness. Unlike the sharp, syrupy structure common in cherry-flavored blends, the promotional text notes the flavoring is kept light. The black-Cavendish-heavy base gives the blend a dark, sugary body; the Virginia leaves a light tang in the background. Abenaki Tobacco was a small outfit founded in Conway, New Hampshire; since its own sales site is no longer live, the blend's current status is uncertain.
