Captain Black Gold

Captain Black Gold is the heavily flavored member of the brand sold in a gold-colored package. Its base is formed by Cavendish; because the leaf is steamed and flavored, the tobacco's own character stays in the background. The cut is ribbon, and the tobacco is moist and sticky. The flavor casing is vanilla-forward and applied very heavily; it leaves a persistent, sweet taste in the mouth throughout the smoke. Nicotine is between light and medium. It lights easily and keeps burning, though it can bite the tongue when smoked quickly.
