Chacom #1

Chacom is the long-established pipe manufacturer based in Saint-Claude, France; the tobacco line bearing its name is produced at Kohlhase & Kopp's facilities in Germany. #1 is the Latakia blend in the line: broken Virginia forms the body, black cavendish adds sweetness, and Oriental leaf together with Cyprus Latakia supply the smoke-and-spice layer. The flavor is smoky and woody, with a fine perfumed tone from the Oriental; Virginia's sweetness is felt underneath this layer. Nicotine is in the medium range. The broken cut makes it easy to fill.
