Charles Fairmorn Lancer's Slices

Charles Fairmorn Lancer's Slices is a nearly black flake obtained by maturing Virginia leaf, known for its natural sweetness, together with smoked Latakia under pressure and then slicing it. It is produced as a long flake, folded in two and packed; the slices can run longer than 30 centimeters. On opening, it leaves a dark, cake-like tobacco aroma in the tin. For smoking, the flake is rubbed out or folded and packed into the bowl; it lights easily and keeps burning with the occasional light tamp. In the flavor profile it starts soft and sweet, intensifying toward the end of the bowl with a light peppery top note.
