Billy Budd is a ribbon-cut mixture built by adding burley, bright Virginia flake, and a considerable amount of natural-cut cigar leaf to a Latakia-heavy body. Cornell & Diehl released the blend as a tribute to a friend nicknamed Sailorman Jack. The presence of cigar leaf sets it apart from classic English mixtures: earth and fermented cigar taste join the smoke and leather notes.
