Bow-Legged Bear is a hearty English mixture bringing together Virginia, Latakia, perique, burley, and Oriental leaf. The leaves are baked, pressed, and sliced into an old-style crumble cake; this preparation lets the components meld together and brings the smoke closer to a single unified taste. Thanks to its five separate leaf types it carries a wide flavor range: Latakia's smoke, the Oriental's dry spice, perique's plummy sharpness, burley's nutty body, and Virginia's sweetness. Because of the cake structure, its smoke is dense and the room note stays pronounced; nicotine strength is above medium. Being pressed, it needs to be crumbled and aired before smoking.
