Cornell & Diehl Brigadier

Brigadier is a blend bringing together Latakia, cube-cut burley, perique, and toasted brown cavendish, topped with a light fruit flavoring. The maker places the blend in the English family; the leaf, cut short and granulated, makes packing easy and gives a slow burn. The Latakia level isn't high enough to make smoke the dominant note; burley provides body and a nutty dryness, perique adds spice, and the fruit flavoring gives a measured sweetness.
