Cornell & Diehl Pegasus

Pegasus is a classic American Burley mixture from blender Bob Runowski. Per Cornell & Diehl's listing, three separate Burleys, two Virginias, and a small amount of unflavored black Cavendish are brought together. Here the Cavendish isn't a flavor carrier but a component that rounds out the mixture and adds richness to the body. Burley's nutty, earthy line comes forward, while Virginia adds a measured sweetness. It burns cool and sits in the medium nicotine band.
