Cornell & Diehl Purple Cow

Purple Cow is a mixture Cornell & Diehl blender Bob Runowski prepared for the Chicagoland pipe show. Per the maker's listing, Latakia and maduro cigar leaf are used alongside Burleys and bright Virginia ribbon. The cigar leaf adds a dark, earthy, peppery layer not often found in pipe tobaccos. Latakia builds a smoky background while Burley provides a cool body, and Virginia brings a measured sweetness. Nicotine sits in the medium band.
