Cornell & Diehl Shandygaff
Shandygaff is one of the old Atlas Blending recipes whose rights Cornell & Diehl took over. It's a ribbon-cut mixture made of Burley, Turkish leaf, and Perique; the maker's description mentions flavors reminiscent of ginger and salty sea air. On the smoke, Burley is clearly up front; Oriental and Perique remain supporting components adding extra texture to the body. It's unflavored, low in sweetness, with an overall dry-earthy direction.
