Cornell & Diehl Super Balkan

Super Balkan is one of Cornell & Diehl's oldest recipes. Perique, Latakia, and Burley are added to a base weighted toward bright Virginia slices, with high-quality Turkish leaf sprinkled on top. Its Latakia proportion is higher than the same house's Atlas Balkan blend. Despite "Balkan" in the name, the blend isn't purely Oriental-focused — Perique and Burley have a clear say. On the smoke, Latakia's smoke leads, Perique adds sharpness, while Burley and Oriental leaf balance the dusty, leathery base with floral-citrus tones. Its body is full and the room note strong.
