Cornell & Diehl Three Friars

Three Friars is an unflavored mixture made of a trio of ribbon-cut Virginia, brown Burley, and Perique. Records indicate the recipe was built following in the footsteps of the classic Three Nuns blend, sitting somewhere between that blend's old and new compositions. Virginia carries natural sweetness, Perique adds a plummy, peppery sharpness, and dark Burley builds an earthy, spicy body. It carries no casing, following a balanced line between sweetness and spice.
