Watchman's Reach is a plain Virginia blend in Cornell & Diehl's Summit series, inspired by US national parks. The maker states the blend is made entirely of whole-leaf Bright and Lemon grade flue-cured Virginias, pressed into a dense plug. The plug form lets the smoker choose their own slicing thickness and allows the leaf to mature over time. On the flavor side, Virginia's natural sugars are central; a lively citrus tartness, dry hay, and warm baked-goods tones are described.
