Cornell & Diehl White Burley

White Burley is one of Cornell & Diehl's single-leaf bulk products. It's obtained by cutting top-grade light-colored Burley leaf from Kentucky fields into ribbon form. Since Burley has a low sugar content, it naturally burns slowly and offers a dry, nutty base rather than sweetness. It can be smoked on its own or used as a base leaf by those building their own blends; it takes well to combining with Virginia, Perique, or aromatic casings. On the maker's scale, strength, flavor, and room note are given as medium.
