4th Generation 1855 is a straight Virginia blend in the Erik Stokkebye line. High in natural sugar, it is made from well-aged golden flue-cured leaf and presented ready rubbed, so it can be packed straight from the tin. On the palate, meadow grass, bread, citrus peel and spice tones stand out, backed by a sweetness leaning toward dried fruit, caramel and cream. The blend's name refers to the birth year of Erik Peter Stokkebye, born in 1855, who started the Stokkebye tobacco tradition.
