This flake, sliced after pressing, is built mainly on American burley and aged American virginia with a small amount of black cavendish. The maker states the blend offers an unadulterated, natural smoke. Its character sits between burley's nutty, bready fullness and virginia's measured sweetness; the black cavendish acts as a cushion softening the edge.
