PS83 Amsterdam is a blend in Peter Stokkebye's bulk line that combines sweet, citrus-leaning Virginias with fire-cured Kentucky leaf. The ribbon cut makes packing easy, and the tobacco comes relatively dry from the maker, keeping the burn even. A floral, forest-fruit-leaning flavoring applied on top gives the blend an aromatic shell. The resulting profile layers dark-fired Kentucky's smoky, earthy side over Virginia's sugar, so sweetness and smokiness are perceived at the same time. The body is medium.
