Black Beauty is a Peter Stokkebye blend obtained by putting ripened Virginia, Java, and Burley leaf through a black Cavendish process. The process gives the leaf a dark, near-black appearance and a pronounced softness; the medium-loose cut packs easily and burns cool. On the palate a soft sweetness recalling sugar and light caramel leads; nicotine strength is low and bite is kept minimal.
