Rattray 3 Noggins

3 Noggins is a Scottish-style mixture in which aged Virginia leaf is mellowed with black Cavendish, with a touch of Latakia and a small amount of Oriental tobacco added. The ribbon cut packs easily and burns evenly; the Cavendish share smooths off Virginia's sharp edges, while Latakia sketches a smoky frame without sitting at the blend's center. Reports indicate the blend was developed from a wish to keep the same maker's 7 Reserve's aroma while building up its body, so a kinship is felt between the two.
