Schneiderwind Banbridge Flake

Banbridge Flake is one of the pressed blends the Aachen-based Schneiderwind house offers under its own name. It is built by bringing together various Virginia and burley leaves; a spicy pinch of Louisiana-origin perique is added on top. A noticeable but not overpowering nougat casing rounds off the blend's sweet side; according to records, the producer positions this tobacco as a mild counterpart to the house's darker, harsher flakes. The flake format lets the tobacco burn slowly and cool; the leaves need to be rubbed or folded for packing before use. Nicotine load stays between low and medium. Distributed in 100-gram packages.
