Sutliff Tobacco Company BRG Mixture

BRG Mixture is a blend made from a coarse-cut combination of burley and Virginia leaves, topped with a thin plum, vanilla, and liqueur-direction flavoring. Because the topping level is kept low, its character is built between burley's nutty fullness and Virginia's tangy sweetness. The name references Clare Briggs, a cartoonist known for comic strips published in American newspapers in the 1920s; records indicate the blend was developed as an equivalent to Briggs Mixture, which sold for many years.
