Sutliff Tobacco Company CA-100

CA-100 is a ribbon-cut English mixture the Richmond-based Sutliff offers in bulk. Cyprus latakia forms the blend's backbone; oriental leaves add a spicy, lightly floral layer, Virginia gives a warm sweetness, and a small amount of perique adds a peppery sharpness. It offers a dry, smoky, medium-bodied smoke; nicotine strength is medium. The wide ribbon cut is easy to pack, burns slowly, and may occasionally need relighting. It carries no flavoring; the flavor comes entirely from the leaves themselves.
