Blend
Sutliff Tobacco Company Count Pulaski
Sutliff's Count Pulaski takes its name from Kazimierz Pulaski, the Polish soldier who organized cavalry units during the American Revolutionary War. The blend itself is not a single piece: per the maker's description, it's a combination of four separate sub-blends. The composition brings together burley in shag, plug, and cube-cut forms along with Carolina flake, Virginia, and latakia; over this base, an essence of select Syrian latakia along with rum and anise flavoring is applied. The result is a layered blend with high fullness due to its burley-forward body, where latakia's smoke and spiced sweetness intertwine.
