Blend

Sutliff Tobacco Company Hill of Slane

Hill of Slane is an aromatic blend released in limited quantity within Sutliff's Private Stock line in March 2023 for St. Patrick's Day. A sauce carrying notes of Irish cream, whiskey, vanilla, and caramel is applied over Virginia, burley, and black cavendish leaves; the name comes from the Hill of Slane in Ireland. The ribbon cut offers an easy-lighting, cool, slow-burning smoke. It stays light in nicotine, while on the flavor side the sauce's creamy sweetness takes precedence over the leaf character. A blend for aromatic lovers who favor sweet, liqueur-like profiles. Being a limited production, and with Sutliff's operations ending in 2025, it is only found in remaining stock.
