Sutliff Tobacco Company Maple Shadows

Maple Shadows is an autumn-themed aromatic Sutliff released as a limited edition only in eight-ounce tins. The leading component of the blend is fire-cured Kentucky leaf, accompanied by nutty, bready burley and a lightly tart-citrus Virginia. The maple syrup sauce applied on top doesn't smother the leaves but adds a measured sweetness. In body it sits above typical light aromatics: notes of earth, wood, herb, and spice stand out clearly alongside the sweetness. The topping's effect fades somewhat in the second half of the bowl, letting leaf character come forward.
