Sutliff Tobacco Company Modern English #310

Modern English #310 is a lightly cased English mixture from Sutliff's numbered bulk line. Burley and Virginia leaf form the body, with a small amount of latakia added for a smoky edge. What sets it apart from classic English mixtures is a light topping applied over the tobacco; records indicate this casing leans toward red wine, with a hint of cinnamon here and there. Because the latakia ratio is kept low, smoke is not dominated by smokiness; the blend runs mostly on burley's nutty base. Nicotine strength is below average.
