Sutliff Tobacco Company Mountain Pass

Mountain Pass, part of Sutliff's Private Stock line, is an aromatic built on black and golden cavendish. By design, the leaf's own flavor is kept in the background; what stands out is a buttery, creamy vanilla custard taste. A light honey sweetness from the golden cavendish rounds out the picture. It is a light-to-medium blend in nicotine that doesn't bite the tongue. The cut is ribbon, and it presents a drier leaf compared to the same maker's heavier, moister aromatics.
